Carlisle Introduces Self-Adhering Technology (SAT™) TPO Membrane
 Regulatory restrictions on VOCs found in traditional solvent-based bonding adhesives continue to expand across the country, and the cost of labor to install traditional roofing systems is growing. Therefore, it is becoming exceedingly important to deliver fully adhered alternatives that both meet new regulations and provide labor savings. With these factors in mind, Carlisle is pleased to announce the introduction of Sure-Weld SAT TPO.
Carlisle's SAT TPO fuses a 100%-solids hot-melt adhesive to the bottom ply of Carlisle's TPO sheet and therefore provides the benefits of reduced installation labor and the elimination of solvent. The TPO membrane used in SAT TPO is also engineered for maximum thermal stability, and contains the same OctaGuard XT™ weathering package and excellent long-term performance that is inherent to every Carlisle TPO product. In addition to the elimination of odors and VOCs, SAT TPO helps reduce labor costs by as much as 80% compared to traditional fully-adhered applications.
